The target market for the new platform will be high net worth clients, foreign clients, fund managers and corporates.

Equity Bank says the new system should provide the ability for prospects to open a trading account across both PC and mobile applications with all KYC documents uploaded online. Real-time trading links to the Nairobi Stock Exchange as well as other global capital markets is a pre-requisite.

Equity Bank is looking for an end-to-end online customer journey, incorporating real-time wire transfers, trading, news feed integration and remote customer support and chat facilities. Suppliers should also be able to offer investment research tools that let clients analyse investment performance and market conditions graphically.

Bidders are invited to submit their applications in PDF Format to tenders@equitybank.co.ke by closing date Friday, 8 March 2019 referenced: TECH/LSI/RFI0022/02/2019- ONLINE BROKERAGE PLATFORM.
