The Bank of England is dangling the prospect of a paid internship as the prize for a student competition asking for ideas on how financial technology can be used to improve people's lives.
The central bank says that fintech and regtech are revolutionising financial services and it wants to get fresh ideas from young people.
Students at school, college or university and who are 16 or older can enter the challenge and can work on their own or teams of up to six people.
The bank is promising to give more details on the exact nature of the competition on 12 November, after which entrants will have just two weeks to send in their ideas.
The winner will get a four to six week paid summer internship at the bank in London.
