Temenos recruits for US expansion

Fast growing Geneva-based banking technology vendor, Temenos, has appointed Malou Ducomble and Jesse Morales to spearhead the company's drive into the US market. Both executives will be based in the firm's New York City offices.

Ducomble will head up all of the company's Americas operations as president. She recently held position as director of strategic alliances. Prior to joining Temenos, she held a number of operational positions in MPCT Limited, First Chicago, Winter Partners and Commerzbank.

Morales is to be responsible for managing Temenos' client services organisation. He was previously with EDS based in Plano, Texas, and has over thirty years of experience in the development, implementation and support of financial systems.

George Koukis, chairman and CEO of Temenos, says: "The Americas market continues to be of utmost importance to Temenos."

Temenos' customers in North America include Merrill Lynch, Bank Julius Baer, and Dresdner Bank Lateinamerika.
