London-based Aspace Solutions has joined BEA Systems' Star Partner programme to complement its retail banking e-technology products for smaller banks.
Aspace Solutions will utilise BEA Systems WebLogic Server in developing its hosted e-banking solutions for second and third tier financial institutions. The move will open up an array of integrated electronic delivery channels that, to date, building societies and smaller banks have largely been excluded from, says the company.
Steve Keohane, managing director of Aspace Solutions, comments: "By drawing on a range of best-of-breed technologies from a number of providers such as BEA Systems, we can in turn design and deploy these e-banking solutions for a fraction of the cost of developing a bespoke product."
As a member of the BEA Star Partner programme, Aspace Solutions will gain access to marketing, sales, training, education, and technical development. BEA Star members include systems integrators, independent software vendors and application service providers, each building e-business solutions on the BEA WebLogic e-business platform.
