Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) has shaken up its technology management team, appointing Bruce Wallace to the newly created position of chief digital officer and bringing in former Visa CIO Michael Dreyer as chief operations officer.
Wallace, who has been at SVB since 2008, vacates the role of COO to take up his new position, charged with "transforming the company’s digital banking experience and overseeing SVB’s fee-based product businesses".
Dreyer (pictured) comes in as COO, leading SVB's technology and infrastructure teams. Most recently COO and president, Americas, at mobile money vendor Monitise, Dreyer has also worked for American Express and spent several years at Visa Inc as CIO.
