HKT's csl and 1010 customers who download the Tap & Go app can use their phones to make payments at more than three million MasterCard PayPass merchant locations around the world.

The wallet can also be used to make online purchases of up to HK$10,000 and peer-to-peer instant money transfers, which can be made by tapping handsets together or remotely.

Users can either set up an auto top-up for their wallet of up to HK$10,000 a day or add funds on demand. They can also review their transaction history through the Tap & Go app.
