Vodafone Cep Cüzdan mobile wallet users with iPhones can now register their 'eyeprint' by snapping a photo. From then on, to access the app they will be prompted to take a selfie.

The feature uses EyeVerify's Eyeprint ID technology, which maps the unique veins in eyes and creates a digital key equal to a 50 character complex password.

Eyeprint ID scrambles and encrypts eyeprints locally, they never leave the mobile device so they can never be lost, stolen or intercepted, says the vendor.

The Vodafone contract is the result of a new Turkish reseller deal EyeVerify has struck with Olcsan CAD Technology.
