Execution broker ITG has opened up a digital community for the sharing of ideas and collaboration in trading and portfolio analytics.
The ITG Incubator will house mobile and prototype analytic applications, such as the firm's equity and FX trading cost index apps. Users will also be able to access data sets for upstream applications, and a library of educational content such as video clips and white papers.
ITG claims that the community is a step towards the concept of open source analytics in the industry across asset classes, fostering interaction through discussion forums and social media platforms.
Ian Domowitz, head, analytics, ITG, says: "We are breaking down the barriers between the public and our analytical innovations. ITG Analytics Incubator is designed to give early access to the ideas and projects currently in development while building a community of users to share and engage with prototype applications, data, and our original content."
