Customers who download the MyWallet app can link it to a MasterCard pre-paid account issued by Deutsche Telekom's ClickandBuy International subsidiary.

Users with select Samsung and Sony handsets running Android will be offered an NFC-enabled SIM while customers with other phones and operating systems can use contactless stickers instead.

Germans who sign up for the wallet will get a EUR40 bonus and Deutsche Telekom is promising to add new features such as coupons this Summer. The service will also be expanded to Slovakia and Hungary later this year.
