France-based financial trading software house GL Trade is to provide connectivity to the Hong Kong Futures Exchange over its proprietary network, GL Net.
Once the link is up and running the GL Net global community will be offered direct connectivity to HKATS, the Hong Kong Futures Automated Trading System.
"This agreement will help us expand the distribution of our derivatives market products and build liquidity, for the benefit of market users and shareholders," says Kwong Ki-chi, chief executive of HKEx.
