CBA calls in graphic designers to re-inspire call centre staff

Working in collaboration with Interior Designers Davenport Campbell, the environments team from Australian design consultancy Frost were commissioned to animate the call centre interiors in a bid to distract staff from the day-to-day drudgery of their work.

Working with with New York based illustrator James Gulliver Hancock, Frost created super-sized environmental graphic backdrops that added a distinctly Melbourne identity to the
 inner-city office.

The concept involved visually breaking up the building's floor plate by referencing urban-laneway culture in work zones compared to parklands and nature in the break-out spaces.

Kudos to CBA for showing care and concern for this critical segment of staff that inevitably gets many more brickbats than bouquets.
