Utimaco will organise platform migration, as well as updates and technical support for approximately 30,000 Dresdner Bank desktops and laptops supported by Dregis. The deal is an extension of an existing agreement between Dresdner and Utimaco which involved the company's earlier migration to Windows NT. This contract is now being extended to cover the provision of security across the Windows 2000 and XP platforms.

Dregis is responsible for the global network of the Dresdner Bank for voice, data and video services with nearly 30,000 Internet users, 65,000 server and desktop components, 2,900 self-service points and 4 computer centers.
