PayPal's vice president of global product and experience, Sam Shrauger has resigned after eight years at the eBay unit.
In a memo obtained by AllThingsD, new PayPal president David Marcus confirms the departure and that he will fill Shrauger's role until a full time replacement is found.
Shrauger joined PayPal in 2004 as one of the founding members of the merchant services business unit and acted as vice president of global product strategy before taking up his most recent role.
AllThingsD speculates that he could join up with former boss Scott Thompson, now CEO at Yahoo, who is planning to outline a restructuring today and has just lost chief product officer Blake Irving.
Last month PayPal saw its VP of products for North America, Alyssa Cutright, leave for rival Square where she will head up its international expansion plans.
