The London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange currently uses Radianz's Internet Protocol (IP)-based extranet, RadianzNet, to link financial institutions to its Liffe Connect electronic trading system.

Under this latest agreement, Nasdaq and Liffe will use RadianzNet for the trading of single stock futures over the Liffe Connect platform when trading begins in the US later this year.

John Foyle, Liffe's deputy chief executive, says Radianz has the network and global reach needed to help the joint venture access more traders. "This will allow the Nasdaq/Liffe joint venture to create a truly global market that will support the trading of single stock futures in the United States."
