Reuters is working with Sun Microsystems in an effort to speed up implementation times for the TIBMercury Online electronic broking package.
TIBMercury Online is an order routing technology solution that helps create electronic brokerage services for financial institution customers.
Under the initiative, Reuters' test and configuration service, TIBAssurance, has been working with Sun Professional Services to test and tune various Sun hardware configurations, in an effort to minimise the guesswork and risk at the financial institution's customer site.
The aim is to simplify the installation and configuration of TIBMercury Online, reducing cost, time to market and implementation risk for Reuters clients, say the companies.
