BankSimple, the start-up hoping to take advantage of public disillusionment with the financial services industry by creating a bank that "doesn't suck", has provided a first glimpse of its user interface.
After months of testing and just weeks ahead of the first customers receiving their cards, CEO Joshua Reich has posted a video running through some of the virtual bank's features.

The run-through is designed to demonstrate how BankSimple's sophisticated back-end makes life simpler for the customers; working out what's 'safe to spend', making searches intuitive and fast and payments and saving easy.
BankSimple announced itself to the world around 18 months ago, with Reich offering a bruising critique of the industry he hopes to shake up. Since then the start-up has progressed more slowly than initially predicted as it secured funding and built up its systems, team and partners but is now almost ready to open up to its first real customers.
