Germans watching the latest series of reality TV show Big Brother will be able to vote for their favourite Z-list celebrity-in-the-making using Facebook Credits.
Endemol, the production company behind the show, has teamed with Plazz entertainment to develop a Facebook-voting application for viewers in the country.
This will enable the show's 200,000 Facebook fans to vote for their favourite contestant by handing over seven Credits, worth around 49 cents.
Endemol says it also plans to introduce the app to the other 31 countries where Big Brother runs, offering an alternative to the current text message option.
After a ten year run in the UK, the show was ditched by Channel 4 in 2010 off the back of dwindling viewing figures but has been picked up by Channel 5, recently acquired by Richard 'Dirty' Desmond.
