Trading technology company Interbizz has launched a new mobile Internet share dealing product, the Granit Alert Engine, which is designed to provide users with SMS or email alerts when a share price reaches a requested value.
Elizabeth Sipiere, CEO, Interbizz, comments: "This way of trading could attract new customers who prefer to receive information when it is available rather than find it by themselves."
Information alerts are sent from a trading platform and can be set to direct the customer straight to the order window, depending on the security level on the mobile device. Users can check the status of their orders once they have been executed and may add, modify and remove alerts using XML, HTML, WAP and Java interfaces.
