The exchange was hit with the injunction, issued by the Frankfurt Regional Court, late last year after a legal challenge to the new market by two local brokers.

They had complained after failing to win a seat as specialists in the system when it launched in December, losing out to three rivals in what the bourse calls a "performance-related selection procedure".

Deutsche Börse says that at the time its position was not heard but now the Higher Regional Court of Frankfurt has lifted the interim injunction, paving the way for trading to resume on Monday.
