The opening keynote addresses from Pierre Beck, director of the executive board, Banque centrale du Luxembourg, and Bernard Mommens, member of the board, Dexia-BIL will kick off two days of intense debate, featuring panel discussion, strategic roundtables and break-out sessions addressing this year's theme of 'unlocking the full potential of Sepa'.

The agenda will reflect on the changing landscape for payments in the euro area six months on from the introduction of the Payments Services Directive and the Sepa Direct Debit scheme in November 2009.

With headline sponsorship from four leading global banks - JPMorgan, Deutsche Bank, HSBC and ING - plus host sponsors Dexia and Banque et Caisse d'Epargne de l'Etat, EBAday 2010 is set to confirm its position as Europe's leading annual payments conference and exhibition.

Now in its fifth year, the EBA and Finextra are expecting a record-breaking turnout, and a sold-out exhibition floor, with just two booths remaining at the time of writing. Non-bank sponsors lined up for EBADay 2010 include IBM, Logica, and Diamis.
