Chi-X Europe has rolled out Thomson Reuters' pan-European low latency direct feed, pricing and reference data service, offered through the firm's hosting centres in London.
The vendor's feeds are available to customers wanting to co-locate their trading applications within fully managed hosting facilities or last mile comms to a customer's own data centres.
Each hosting site is placed in close proximity to key trading venues and globally available in Chicago, New York, London, Frankfurt, Singapore and Tokyo.
Customers will be offered a choice of telecomms providers for last mile connectivity. They will also have access to a portfolio of additional services, including market and broker connectivity, pricing and reference data, quant and event driven trading offerings and fully managed services.
Thomson Reuters says the deal is a sign of the importance of platforms and MTFs seeing a reference price from the home markets they are trading against.
Florian Miciu, CTO, Chi-X Europe, says: "Having the broadest access to the market is critical to the participants of Chi-X Europe. Thomson Reuters was able to quickly implement the hosting solution, which provides the breadth and performance to clients in addition to delivering cost savings.
