Switzerland-based investment decision support vendor Brainpower has appointed Eric Yip as general manager, covering Hong Kong, China and Taiwan.
Yip will report directly to Mark Wells, chief operating officer of Brainpower, and will be responsible for setting up and growing the company’s operations in Hong Kong and expanding the business into the rest of Asia. The expansion is in line with Brainpower's strategy for growth as outlined at its IPO in September last year.
Before joining Brainpower, Yip held a variety of international sales and client support positions at Thomson Financial, Financial Times Information, Datastream International and HSBC throughout Asia.
