Wells Fargo Education Financial Services (EFS) has launched EFS Online Billing, an electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) solution that enables users to view and pay their student loan bills online.

After a successful six-month pilot, the service is now available at the bank's Web site, which also offers EBPP to mortgage customers.

Users choose when to receive e-mail reminders for bill due dates and may pay online from Wells Fargo or other bank accounts.

Dave Hawn, senior vice president of information technology at Wells Fargo EFS, says: "Through Wells Fargo Online, our customers can also access all their student loan account information and transfer funds online."
