International Bank of Azerbaijan has gone live with Oracle's Flexcube core banking package, which replaces the Misys Midas system.
Oracle says its technology will provide the bank with an integrated system, covering all major areas of operations and support for internationally recognised standards.
In addition, Flexcube is expected to help the bank achieve a single view of its customers across all the products and services and improve its ability to respond to changing market conditions.
Commenting on the implementation, Emil Mustafayev, first deputy chairman, International Bank of Azerbaijan, says: "About 700,000 of our customers have already benefited from improved customer service and we are confident this association will continue to be an enduring and beneficial one."
