Business Systems has signed Winterflood Securities to its new enterprise level trading surveillance system, Market Detect.
The vendor says its system includes analytics tools that use complex event processing technology to help financial institutions detect and prevent market abuse, minimise trading risk and ensure compliance.
Market Detect collects and analyses organisational data including agent, trader and client activity information, using a detection engine to uncover and present hidden patterns.
Taking direct feeds from trading and telecommunications data, the application incorporates intelligent transaction monitoring, a fully featured alert engine and provides case management for automated reporting and audit trail capture.
The system can be customised to meet individual client requirements and may be either implemented onsite or offered on a hosted pay-as-you-go basis.
