China Minsheng Bank has contracted Yucheng Technologies to build a call centre with fraud prevention systems for its credit card operations.
Yucheng says its software will allow Minsheng call centre operators to access complete information across multiple accounts to assist with caller identification and information collection.
Customer information and data analysis systems will help identify fraudulent credit card applications and improper account access, lowering Minsheng's risk exposure, says the vendor.
The first phase of the programme with see Minsheng's call centre capacity expanded from around 200 seats to 600, before a second phase further increases capabilities.
In December Bank of China selected Yucheng to develop a $5 million, 1000 seat, call centre.
