Canadian credit union Coast Capital Savings has selected the T24 core banking platform from Swiss vendor Temenos to support its retail, commercial and small business operations.
Coast Capital Savings and Temenos will jointly manage the installation of the latest version of T24 across the credit union's network of 51 branches, supporting around 400,000 customers and 1.8 million accounts.
Coast Capital Savings is replacing four core systems with a pre-configured version of the platform - T24 Model Bank for Canada - which Temenos says reduces implementation time and costs.
The vendor says its technology will enable Coast Capital Savings to improve its retail and commercial banking product suites, enhance customer service and consolidate its multi-application environment.
The credit union has also signed for Temenos Arc, a front office software product, to support Internet banking and operational and analytical CRM.
Sheila Baker, chief information officer, Coast Capital Savings, says: "T24 enables us to fully integrate our operations across our retail, commercial and small business banking divisions."
