Banking software developer First Derivatives has secured over £3 million in funding from Invest Northern Ireland (InvestNI), the country's economic development organisation, to support the creation of 142 new jobs.
Over the next two and half years, First Derivatives will create 132 consultancy positions and 10 managerial posts. The money, provided by the European Regional Development Fund, will also be used for staff training.
Northern Ireland-based First Derivatives develops, implements and supports trading and risk management systems for financial institutions. Founded 12 years ago, the firm floated on the Aim market in 2002.
Brian Conlon, chief executive, First Derivatives, says: "I am delighted that Invest Northern Ireland is supporting us in the further development of our business. This financial support will assist us as we continue with our global growth plans."
