Irish payments technology specialist Sentenial has announced a EUR15 million investment plan and recruitment campaign to create 70 new jobs.
The investment programme was announced at the formal opening of the company's new offices in the Maynooth Business Campus, Co. Kildare.
Sentenial says the two-year programme will include overseas expansion, a major recruitment drive as well as significant R&D investment.
The company is currently recruiting a range of experienced professionals such as software developers, QA & software engineers, project managers, business analysts as well as product & implementation consultants.
The recruitment drive will more than double the number of employees working for the four year old company, from 65 to 135.
Sentenial appointed former Misys chief Kevin Lomax as chairman last year as Sepa-inspired demand for its direct debit technology began to take off in the corporate and banking market.
In September, the company won a major deal with ABN Amro for the provision of a Sepa-compliant direct debit processing system.
The four year old company currently employs 65 staff.
