European securities industry leaders will gather at The Brewery in London this week for a 'state of the nation' debate about the future of trading in European markets.
With a clear focus on business-critical trade execution trends in European equities and futures markets, the Finexpo Execution Management conference and exhibition on Thursday 16 October will present an agenda-setting forum for industry participants for the coming year.
The conference programme brings together senior business leaders from market participant firms and execution venues such as Chi-X, Turquoise, Plus and Equiduct in a number of presentations and panel discussions.
Richard Balarkas, CEO, Instinet, and Dr Arjuna Sittampalam, research associate at the EDHEC Risk and Asset Management Research Centre will dissect the impact of the MiFID rule changes for the sell side and buy side respectively, while Cathryn Lyall, COO exchange projects, Icap, will talk on the changing role of the inter-dealer broker.
The event will additionally feature panel discussions on dynamic smart order-outing and the use of low latency technologies as market participants maintain the search for alpha in rapidly fragmenting markets.
Finexpo - Execution Management also plays host to an exhibition floor of specialist technology vendors, execution venues and suppliers to the industry, demonstrating their software and services.
Entrance to the event is free to qualified representatives of buy side and sell side institutions. To download the agenda and register for your free pass visit Finexpo - Execution Management
