Under the agreement Capgemini will partner the bank in the implementation of the Delta-Bank retail banking platform - which is supplied by French vendor Delta - through deployment projects of 12 to 18 months in 19 different countries.

Capgemini will use its dedicated service centre based in Hyderabad, India, where it has around 17,000 collaborators, for the SocGen project.

The vendor says after beginning the standardisation of technology at international subsidiaries in 2004, SocGen decided to seek a partner to manage a services centre to support the subsidiaries and also to collaborate with for the full length of the projects.
