Specialist investment management consulting firm Citisoft has appointed Omgeo executive Christopher Russo as a managing director.
Russo was most recently executive director for client operations and a member of the executive team at trade matching utility Omgeo. He was responsible for the integration, implementation and application support teams, focusing on improving project efficiency and reducing the firm's book to bill.
Before joining Omgeo Russo was senior director of implementation services at Charles River Development. He has also worked for Thomson Investment Software and Investor's Bank & Trust.
In his new role at Citisoft Russo will be responsible for developing business opportunities and cultivating client relationships, as well as taking on programme and project management duties. Russo will also be responsible for practice development, marketing, and staff mentoring and management.
He will report Citisoft CEO Paul Migliore.
