Mondex Korea has signed an agreement with the Kyonggi Provincial Government to use the Mondex electronic cash card throughout the southern province.
The first batch of cards - offering credit, debit and transport payment applications - are to be issued to council staff as part of a limited pilot programme. If successful, the cards will be distributed more widely to Kyonggi citizens for multiple services such as payment, storage of medical records and ID.
