Covering the spectrum of exchanges and liquidity providers, payments processors, and financial software and information vendors, Fintech M&A: Senior Executive Forum on Global Growth Strategies will explore the challenges and opportunities these firms face in an increasingly competitive and consolidating environment.

The event, to be held on Tuesday 30 October at Andaz Liverpool Street, London, will feature keynote presentations from:

  • Hermann-Josef Lamberti, COO and management board member, Deutsche Bank
  • Paul Garcia, CEO, Global Payments
  • Lloyd Dorfman, chairman, Travelex

Panel discussions throughout the day will cover issues such as the impact of cross-sector and global convergence on the industry; strategies for building or buying for growth; dealing with post-merger integration; and sources of funding.

"Technology underpins the banking sector and financial services institutions must have confidence in the provision of these systems. For that reason we monitor M&A activity in the sector closely and we have a keen interest in seeing these organisations integrate successfully," says Jorge Calderon, Global Head of Financial Institutions at Deutsche Bank. "We have designed Fintech M&A as an opportunity for the financial technology community to share the ideas and expertise that will enable successful integration and continuing expansion in this sector."

Paul Penrose, Managing Director, Finextra Research adds: "Fintech M&A is the first event focused specifically on growth strategies and M&A trends within the financial technology arena. We are expecting a strong turnout from business leaders representing major firms and investors across the globe, and look forward to the ensuing dialogue and debate."
