Emirates Bank has contracted with Satyam Computer Services for the supply and implementation of the vendor's enterprise financial management system.
The system will be based on an Oracle E-business platform and will streamline and automate the bank's enterprise processes covering general ledger, fixed assets, accounts payable, procurement and property management.
Satyam says it will work with Cedar Management Consulting to implement the system across the bank's divisions.
Sanjay Uppal, group CFO, Emirates Bank, says the technology "will help us in having better efficiencies and control at the group level and also augment our business strategy for continuous enhancement of our internal processes".
