Under the agreement, VeriFone will supply its Nurit 8400 and Nurit 8210 countertop models, the Nurit 8010 wireless model, and the PINpad 1000SE. Turkiye Finans is the first customer in Turkey to deploy the 8400 model says the vendor.

The deal was won in competition against a long-term incumbent supplier, says VeriFone.

Ahmet Yildirim, manager of consumer banking operation department at Turkiye Finans comments: "We found the VeriFone products would be the best fit for replacing most of our existing terminals in the field."
