Portuguese financial group Millennium BCP is rolling out operational risk technology supplied by London-based vendor Chase Cooper across its global operations.

Millennium BCP has already installed the vendor's aCCelerate product across its operations in Lisbon, which forms the platform for roll out across the group. The firm now plans to deploy the software in Poland and Greece followed by other locations in Europe, Africa and the US.

Chase Cooper was awarded the contract after a competitive selection process. THe vendor says Millennium BCP found its aCCelerate system provided the scalability and flexibility required to manage risk at a global and at an individual country level.

Commenting on the contract John Kiddy, CEO of Chase Cooper, says: "In meeting its (Millennium BCP's) exacting requirements of a risk software system, we have been able to demonstrate the comprehensive levels of functionality designed into aCCelerate."
