Electronic bond trading network eSpeed has appointed Bloomberg's Yevette Tierney as its new chief information officer.
Tierney previously held global product development, infrastructure, client service and operations management positions at Bloomberg, reporting directly to the CEO.
She was responsible for software development of systems, applications, and the technology platform of Bloomberg television, radio and multi-media services.
In her new role Tierney will be based at eSpeed's New York offices and will report directly to chairman, CEO and president Howard Lutnick.
