Under the terms of the contract, Sema will provide professional and data processing services to Manulife Century. In addition, a strong account and service interface will be established to provide customer support including printing, network and customer service management.

Together with technology partner Nihon Unisys, Sema has implemented mainframe processing services for Manulife from one of its Asian processing centres. The contract provides for an immediate upgrade of Manulife Century's current mainframe operating systems and for four mainframe environments over the length of the contract.
