Brief: Web banking to be priority for Internet generation

In an e-business survey eliciting the opinions of Britain’s future high-flyers, KPMG reveals that amongst 17 and 18 years olds, Internet banking is expected to climb from the near bottom of their list of useful online resources to the top three.

KPMG says the results indicate the growing importance for banks to be able to offer Internet banking facilities that are easy to find and access, and also the willingness of future customers to 'shop around' for the most competitive products, services and rates before buying.
