US securities firm Susquehanna International Group is implementing market data distribution technology from New York-based vendor Wombat Software.
SIG will deploy Wombat's messaging and application integration platform to supply trading applications with fast market data.
SIG will also build upon its existing installation of Wombat feed handlers by expanding them in number across multiple cities in the US, Europe and Asia. SIG is also set to use Wombat's SuperBook virtual order book consolidation server to capture liquidity across multiple venues in a single view.
The vendor says it will also collaborate with SIG on the development of new Wombat technologies to support the bank's expansion.
Ron Verstappen, CEO of Wombat, says: "More than anything else, collaborative relationships with innovative customers allows technology companies to continually break new ground and deliver products and services that have a real impact."
