UK fintech vendor SmartStream Technologies has appointed Ken Archer as its new chief executive officer (CEO).
Archer joins SmartStream from Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) where he was most recently president of European business development.
He started his career with JP Morgan, where he was VP of information services. He subsequently became CEO of Mercantile Information Services and COO of The Savings Corporation, a subsidiary of AIG.
Archer replaces SmartStream founder Martin Brown who stepped down following the firm's buyout by TA Associates in September. The US private equity house acquired 3i Group's majority stake in the STP vendor for an undisclosed sum.
