Automatic Data Processing subsidiary ADP Wilco has launched a Swift service bureau for banks, brokers, fund managers and corporate users in Asia Pacific.
The service provides users with fast-track access to the Swift network for the full range of Swift messages, including securities, treasury, derivatives, payments and cash management.
This marks the first new bureau service launched by ADP since the company announced plans to spin off its brokerage services unit into a separate publicly traded company in August. It also comes in the wake of three new senior appointments to its Asia Pacific management team.
ADP launched its first Swift bureau service in Germany two years ago. Buouyed by the succcess of the venture, the vendor opened a second facility in Switzerland in 2005, and a third bureau in the UK in April this year.
