InvestTech Systems, an IT and operations consultancy for institutional investors, has added industry veterans Kathy Ball-Toncic and Eugene Siembieda to its senior management team.
Ball-Toncic who has more than 17 years of financial services experience was previously executive director for Omgeo's global partners and relationship management programme.
Prior to Omgeo Ball-Toncic was at Financial Fusion where she was vice president, capital markets. She has also held positions at Javelin Technologies, Longview and Thomson Financial ESG (now Omgeo).
She joins InvestTech as a managing director and will provide consulting services and engagement management for strategic client relationships and will also manage business development efforts.
Siembieda has more than 15 years' experience in the management and development of investment systems and investment securities operations, having held senior technology and operations positions at BankOne, Credit Suisse Asset Management, Warburg Pincus and Scudder Stevens and Clark (now Deutsche Asset Management).
During his career, Siembieda has spearheaded the re-architecting of back office accounting and settlement operations through the implementation of new technologies, work flows and data strategies. He has also directed the redevelopment of front office and mid-office systems for investment firms including new trade order management and securities research systems.
Siembieda also joins InvestTech as a managing director.

InvestTech says it has also opened a second New York-based office in Manhattan.
