International management and IT services firm Calleo has named former KPMG manager Ernst Lier as lead consultant, working within the company's programme office division.
In his new post, Lier will oversee the programme office's work in mainland Europe and focus on extending the division's offering to cover change and risk management. He will also be responsible for the development and support of Calleo’s project and programme managers.
Lier joins Calleo from KPMG Consulting, where he managed the design of a consultancy practice in project and IT management and application architecture. He also conducted a number of consultancy assignments in project risk management alongside project management of regulatory reporting systems.
Lier previously worked as a principal consultant for Logica Consulting, focusing on IT use and strategy in financial institutions. During his time at Logica, Lier developed 'standard operating procedures' for the back office of an asset management bank in conjunction with the implementation of a new portfolio management system.
