Indonesia's Bank Central Asia (BCA) has implemented technology from UK-based SwallowTech to automate payments investigations processes across the enterprise.
SwallowTech says its Smart-Resolve platform can automate investigation generation and follow-ups, compensation claims, accounting entries and message generation for Swift, fax and e-mail across the enterprise.
The system has enabled BCA to automate tracking and generation of its MTN91 "request for charges" messages and subsequent reconciliation of received funds, resulting in a reduction of manual monitoring and collection of payment charges claimed from third party banks.
