US investment bank Morgan Stanley is creating 300 new jobs at its operations in Glasgow.
The new jobs, which are a result of Morgan Stanley expanding its institutional securities services and private wealth management operations in Glasgow, will include financial and operational managers and analysts.
The Scottish Executive, Scotland's governing body, is providing £3.2 million in regional assistance for the expansion of the Glasgow operation.
The expansion will bring Morgan Stanley's total Scottish workforce to almost 1800, which includes staff at the bank's recently acquired Goldfish credit card operation.
