National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) is installing New York-based Gifts Software's funds transfer and payments technology, eGifts.
EGifts is a browser-based system designed to automate both payment and telecommunications processing. Users connect to the eGifts server via the Internet.
The product can run on the IBM Pseries or i5 servers/AIX operating system, Intel Pentium based Windows 2003 server and Sun/Solaris. An embedded Oracle database is used on either of the hardware platforms.
