Swiss core banking systems vendor Temenos has appointed former City Networks CEO Costa Christodoulou to the newly created role of European regional director.
Christodoulou joined London financial software house City Networks as business development director 2002 and was promoted to the role of president in the same year.
Nobody from City Networks was available to comment on reasons for Christodoulou's departure.
Christodoulou joined City Networks from ACT Financial Systems, which later became Misys Asset Management Systems.
Prior to this Christodoulou was regional director, Emea at Alltel Information Services and also had a stint as sales and service director at Unisys' international banking services centre.
At Temenos Christodoulou will be responsible for developing the business across the UK, Ireland, Channel Isles, Netherlands, Scandinavia, Baltic and CIS territories. Based in London, he will report to Mark Cullinane, chief operating officer.
