London market data techology vendor CMS WebView has signed Infodirect, a New Zealand-based provider of financial information services, to its TDI wholesale data feed.
CMS says it will provide Infodirect - which delivers financial information via the Internet, mobile phones and pagers - with elements of its real-time futures and options and foreign exchange data feed for an undisclosed sum.
Commenting on the deal, Bob Antell, chief executive of CMS, says: "Not only is this our first Australasian client, but it also reflects a recent increase in interest in our wholesale data feed."
Last year CMS was forced to implement a series of cost cutting measures - which included closing down its New York and Chicago offices and reducing its UK headcount - after failing to meet sales targets for the TDI system.
However Antell says the firm is now receiving a growing number of enquiries and its global customer base continues to expand.
Earlier this year CMS secured a further contract from the Cbot for the upgrade of the exchange's market data feed which was developed using TDI system.
